Steel-edged rubber water stop band is inserting galvanized steel into vulcanized rubber intermediate, (?).It is a kind of new type Rubber Water Stop Band, widely used in the majority of large building field, especially in the high hydraulic and relatively larger structure deformation. The effect of stop water is much more obvious than the general water stop material.

Product characters and advantages

Ordinary rubber water-stop use, when the structure deformation, rubber water-stop is along with the structure of the settlement, the transverse section elongate, thin, exceed its fatigue deformation limit, is likely to form a new leakage crack.

While steel-edged rubber water-stop use, the bond is extremely strong between both sides of the plate and the surrounding concrete structure, likely, the steel plate and the rubber's bonding is extremely strong. When the structure transformation appears, only exists the rubber part elongate and thin, while between steel plate and   concrete, steel and rubber will not produce new leakage crack. Therefore, the use of the steel-edge rubber water-stop not only enhance seepage-proofing performance when structure deformation arouse, but play an important  role in the whole engineering water-stop.

Construction & Installation 

1. As a special kind of water stop, the construction method of the steel-edged rubber water-stop has its own characteristics on the basis of general water stop material. The pre-made mounting hole on both steel sides make it convenient to install and fix; the bond is extremely strong between both sides of the plate and the surrounding concrete structure; what's more, the simpler and more convenient way of its joint avoids the traditional difficulties, like the leakage hidden trouble on the joints.

2. Butt joint of steel-edged rubber water-stop, adopted advanced vulcanization cross, T and L font, to vulcanize the model of the joint just need one time, overcome the original defects that vulcanize 4 ~ 5 times, its tensile strength is same as 20 m length article. It is easy to install, and enhance the joint strength , greatly reduce workload in construction process and guarantee the waterproof effect around the joint parts.

3. There are two kinds of methods of treating butt joint at the scene, one is to vulcanize it and the other one is mechanical butt joint. For the former one, the civil engineering representative must inform the supplier ahead of time so as to get the required length, or it is very difficult to achieve it once the cutting parts come out at scene. When vulcanizing, can only do no joint connection for the rubber parts, but the steel edge need mechanical connection at scene, and do filling and reinforcing treatment by un-vulcanized rubber putty. It is not allowed to connect the steel edge by electric  welding by which the rubber is easily to be damaged.
